A grace –supported child
 
        Lai is a nineteen year old teenager with cerebal palsy. She is an open-minded girl who likes to help and communicate with others ! She has her own wishes and ideals which she wants to achieve !
 
         She started to study in the Angel House located in Guangxi, Nanning in 2003 which is a local organization aims to offer education and rehabilitation to children with cerebal palsy. Before her study in the Angel House, Lai was unable to walk and move properly and had difficulties in keeping balance and speaking. However, her parents had never given up. No matter how hard it was, they tried their best to save money to pay Lai's school fees. Unfortunately, in 2007, they had financial difficulties and Lai almost needed to quit her study !
 
         In the same year, Rainbow Missions subsidized Lai's school fees and living expenses through the Angel House so as to let Lai continue her education and rehabilitation ! Lai was a good student at school with high problem-solving ability. She liked to ask questions and was eager to study and find out answers with others. Lai is able to read newspapers and magazines. In addition, she is capable of using the computer in setting up her own blog and QQ as well as using the word programme or drafting some simple electronic forms.
 
          At the beginning of this year, Lai started to be employed by Silver Lining . She needs to work six days a week. Every month when Lai receives her wage, she will be very exited and give all her salary to her Mum. Her Mum will save the money for Lai in the hope of helping her to set up a small store in the future. Every month, Lai's Mum will give 20 dollars to Lai as pocket money. Lai thinks the amount will be enough as she has got privilege card for the handicapped and needs not pay any transportation fee.
 
          Lai has been working for more than six months, she is very happy to grow up independently and get a job. She likes every colleagues there. Even though they have varying degrees of physical disabilities, they all believe in God and share the same system of values ! Today, Lai is able to communicate with others and go to work by herself. She is interested in reading and treasures the opportunity to receive education. She thanks those good-hearted people who quietly help and support her as they let her have faith to strive towards her goals in mind !
