The followings are what the teacher’s feedback after the training:

Dear Rainbow Missions friends,

Greetings!

 I have met you for only one year and you have been providing much help for me to grow. The opportunity to attend Louis’ program indeed caused me to be very thankful. Without your arrangement and help, I cannot imagine how much I missed out from such wonderful and loving program! This program is not only board in knowledge, I also personally was also impacted by the meaning of our work and meaning of life thur it. This allows me to adjust my own personal attitude and value systems.

    Each special need kids are all different in terms of their ability. Yet, they have an equally very important value in each one of them. From this Louis’ program, we can get to know 20 families’ stories on how they were help by it. Though their progress are different, they all experienced love as their blessings! I can only say, Louis’ program is much needed and I treasure the chance to attend this training.

In the future, I’d love to apply what I have learned from this program and help my school’s kids to grow in love.

Dear Rainbow Missions friends,

How are you? I am very thankful! Thanks to the Rainbow Missions’ support and allowing us to attend the Louis’ program. I’m very grateful to get to know Yolanda, the Founder of Louis’ program and their team thru this training. They allow us to see how the Louis’ program as a living example to teach and help the autistic kids to grow and to learn. Since they have gone thru each step and so they can tell us what kind of challenge we will face and how to overcome them. This is a really good encouragement, support, and help for all of us.

Four days of training was a big reward to me. The biggest value I gained is on my attitude—I’m becoming happier. Teachers and parents are happy to teach, then our students will be happy to learn. I’m sure I will bring this valuable attitude to our school and share among our school, our teachers, our parents and our students. I’ll try my best to share with them that each of them will be more confident, more motivated, and more hope in their families.

Even Louis’ program is for autism kids or for some slow-learner home schooling program, I feel like we can use this for training our students too. I really want to try using this program and I’m sure some result will come. Regardless how much result I’ll get I want to try my best! I do not even care if the result is very small but to keep trying! Our students only go back home once per term’s break or once a year, each time when they return back to school from home, they change their behaviors quite a lot! I used to ask why? Thru this training I know why now since the parents also need to go thru some training. Both the teachers and the parents need to be on the same page in order to get the best results on each student.  Once the parents receive the same training from the Louis’ program, the parents will know what they need to do at home.

My hope is the see the teachers and our parents are in one heart to give the best for our students as we help, instruct and train up our students. Since this is something new, perhaps we will try on two families and give them the right training at home. I’m sure we’ll see good result from all these! Let’s work on it!
