Ma Ma of Siu Wai Ming,Dad of Li Chuen 2016-6

We would like to share with you two “Thank You” letters from our parents:

1) Ma Ma of Siu Wai Ming, her son is suffering from Cerebral Palsy.

To our respectful friends in Rainbow Missions,

Wish all is well with you! I’m Siu Ma Ma. From the very bottom of my heart, I want to express my gratefulness to you and to your generous and selfless help!

I’m from Qui Zhou remote suburb near the mountain area. Since 2010, we brought our son to Nanning. We first took him to Nanning People Hospital and then we found out our son is suffering from cerebral palsy. Our heart sunk from such bad news to a point we almost wanted to give up! Since we are from the mountain area, we do not have much financial background, neither did we have any government supports, we face great financial burdens since the only income we have is from Siu’s dad. We still have two more daughters and a old mom to live with us. This thundering news caused our whole family to be in emotional valley!

When Siu Wai Ming was three, I was introduced to Angels House in Nanning. We stayed there for 3 years to do rehab. He started to learn more and to get more help from the staffs there. Wai Ming now improves a lot! He can feed himself, kneel-walking, leaning on a wall to walk a few steps. He is also able to know numbers below 100, plus being able to write some words too!

These all contribute to the hard work of the teachers and their professional education together with your help and financial supports. All these allow our family to get huge relief from our financial burdens. It’s all because of your kind and loving hand to give us that we may face our problems with courage and strength.

We are grateful to have your unconditional love which allows us to feel your true love and care. We are truly thankful to have you all accompanying us in the life journey that allows us to experience the warmness in one family!

I cannot express more to thank you all from Angels House and Rainbow Missions. We know we will not put your love and effort in vain that we will keep on fighting on this physical issue for recovery. Thank you so much for your care! Thanks again!

2) Dad of Li Chuen and Ren Chung, from LuiZhou Special Ed school.

My dear friends from Rainbow Missions,

I’m so very grateful to have you helping me and supporting me! You are the angel of my heart. I still remember the conversation with my daughter: Li Chuen, dad has no money to send you to school. You and your brother will need to stay at home from now on. Then my daughter said, “Dad, perhaps you can ask people from Rainbow Missions to help us a little bit more?” Yes, just from the little girl’s month, it opens door for them in a great way!

Well, who will want to have kids like this? At the very beginning, when the first time seeing this dad sitting at the corner by himself, tears dropped from my eyes. When I sent him to school that day, at the time when I needed to say “Goodbye” to him, the sight of helplessness gave me a big sorrow from the bottom of my heart. This is too sad! How can we leave him along without any help of his own family?

All I can say is a big THANK YOU for all the help you gave to my children! I here bow and express my gratitude to you!
