A Testimony Of A Child - 2011-08

    Grace                                                     Yong Yong
As I was unable to walk, I could not go to school to study. Therefore, I did not have many friends, I started to hide myself and was not eager to share with or talk to anyone. As a result, my mood became worse and worse and everyone could read my bad mood from my face. However, deeply in my mind, I really wanted to attend school and have as many friends and classmates as my brother.
Shortly afterwards, my dream came true. One day in 2009, I came to a school named the "Angel House" and had many friends there.
I deeply feel I am the lucky one. The living in school is not as difficult as I have imagined. I started my primary three study when I came to the Angel House as both my father and teacher said I had such ability. Teacher gave me a test and out of my expectation , I passed. At first, I was worried I might be a burden to my classmates but fortunately I was not. Sometimes, I even teach my classmates to do homework.
God knows my needs and helps me in various ways. Because of my incapability to walk, I could only stay at home. When my grandfather was still alive, he always taught me to write some simple words as he was a teacher. After he had passed away, nobody taught me anymore. Dad bought me a television so that I would not feel so boring at home. Therefore, I started to watch television everyday. From it, I saw the beautiful world, learned lots of words and even Putonghua. Moreover, I always read my brother's textbooks and thus learned many new words.
